Case 1 Case 2 Case 3 Case 4 T he 4 configurations shown below illustrate an Escalib Mills stair tower erected for access to level N with the access on the building (near) side. Depending on the height between the two levels, the upper level is accessed from one of the four sides of the tower: - the front face (floor slab side): case 1 - one of the lateral faces: cases 2 and 4 - or the rear face: case 3 Case 1: classic access via the front face is provided at level N+1. Cases 2 and 4: level N+1 is accessed from one of the sides using a side access gangway. Case 3: as level N+1 is the same height as the steps of the stair string at the rear side of the stair tower, exit should be provided from this point. To simplify assembly, the exit is provided by an overhang from the steps of the side face just above it. The gangway can be tilted in order to allow for the vertical drop. > Configuration of the exits depending on the orientation of the Escalib Mills tower: Rear side Front side Rear side Front side Lateral Lateral Lateral Lateral Lateral Lateral Lateral Rear side Front side Lateral Rear side Front side Level N +1 Level N +1 Level N Level N Level N +1 Ground level Level N Ground level Level N Ground level Ground level Level N +1 1.52 1.10 0.21 1.50 0.11 NT 010 - ESCALIB MILLS TECHNICAL INFORMATION
